  2. No, Becky, it's not the final cover yet. It's pretty close.

  3. I love it -- the ghostly figure in the foreground with the ferris wheel in the background, very classy!

  6. Love the ferris wheel - goes well with the idea of "Old Haunts" - places that we used to love, but aren't there anymore.

  7. That actually is based very closely on the amusement pier at Seaside Heights, NJ, Tami, which means I might have to move some of the action there.

  8. Love it!

The slight light around the ghost with the ferris wheel in the background goes perfectly with the title. The fact he's on a deserted beach at night with black birds over him creates the feel of a mystery story I want to read.

I'm not sure if I'd like it better if 'Old Haunts' was a little lower, not seeping into the background picture. The contrast of the white words against the dark beach is good but it's the tiniest bit distracting that it's OVER a picture.

I'm ONLY saying this because you asked for honest opinions and I'm now studying the picture more thoroughly than if I just saw it sitting on a shelf.

I wonder what it would look like with the ferris wheel moved up, the birds in that corner moved up, too, and then the title moved up. Just a teensy bit so it doesn't looked scrunched together while there's plenty of unused space up top...
