ARC Contest!!!

The word's starting to get out about NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEED! I've received Advance Reader Copies (ARCs) from Berkley, and I'm saving two for interested readers. Here's how we'll proceed, in order to be fair:

Take a look at the book's cover, at www.ejcopperman.com. Then count the number of birds sitting on and flying around Alison's Haunted Guesthouse. Send me your final count, along with a snail mail address (in case you win) and an email address (so I can tell you you won) to: ejcopperman[AT]gmail[DOT]com.

A random drawing of correct responses will earmark two ARCs for readers. Sorry I can't do more, but this is all I have to play with. So get your entries in by Saturday, May 1, and you can be one of the first to read NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEED!

  1. EJ you must have a pet peeve or two. Come over to my blog and kvetch about something and then plug your ARC giveaway.

  2. Unless there are some Wasserman-style ink spots, I count 32 birds. If there are (ink spots), then there are only 29. I can't guarantee that's completely accurate, 'cuz it's been a while since my last Wasserman.

  3. I love this cover. And the book sounds great. I love a ghost story. I count 32 as well, unless some of them are shadows. A couple of them are hard to see.

I write Paranormal Romance, with a quirky historian and a secret clan of warriors, but I did manage to sneak in a ghost.

  5. I always enjoy a good mystery involving the paranormal and always on the lookout for authors to add to the list. Checked out the cover and I think I saw 32 as well.

Best of luck with the series!

  7. I see 32 as well. I sent my count by email, guess that if we are wrong, we'll almost be all wrong... Maybe only Michelle is right ;)
