I'm really just jealous of all these people who KNOW there are no cats in the book. Keep the cat in the bag people! I don't wanna know half the world has read the book before me! Ok, so I'm really not as angry as that sounds, but I would love to talk my way into an advance copy...PaperAddictJennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08799233418221905740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024252016430244540.post-55154839654283651852010-07-17T22:28:11.791-07:002010-07-17T22:28:11.791-07:00I love the cover (and I work as an editor!). I don't like the black cat. I don't remember reading about a cat in the first book, so I'm guessing he plays an important role in the second book? Personally, I'd rather see guests posing for a picture or Allison or Melissa in front of the house instead of the cat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024252016430244540.post-52724972329499481962010-07-08T15:58:55.438-07:002010-07-08T15:58:55.438-07:00The cover is good, but I like the idea of seeing a...The cover is good, but I like the idea of seeing a hint of a ghost.Druhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07978384022143035332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024252016430244540.post-49404262742494886132010-07-08T14:56:17.902-07:002010-07-08T14:56:17.902-07:002222Fiona Marsdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00483455541888759566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024252016430244540.post-21103439194158237382010-07-08T14:49:03.785-07:002010-07-08T14:49:03.785-07:00I like it. I can very easily see Melissa loving that black cat (who is identical to my Miss Sarah, and I don't recall her modeling for that cover). I love seeing the house, though I thought the ocean was in front of the house, across the road, with a deep garden behind. I too like the black birds.

This is going to be a long wait.Laineshotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06404938863398418810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5024252016430244540.post-26456882490955202462010-07-08T14:05:08.661-07:002010-07-08T14:05:08.661-07:00I love the cover as it appears right now. Because a lot of times I think publishers like to put cats on the covers of mystery novels just because they think mystery readers like cats. Really, though, get rid of the ghost and perhaps show a little bit more of the house. I like the birds being carried over from the first cover.Sue T.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18178527899514406682noreply@blogger.com
